A Good Shepherd In-Home Care Services, carefully matches both Private Duty and Personal Caregivers to provide clients who need occasional assistance with errands, housekeeping or transportation, and those clients requiring continued care. We are locally owned and operated.
Private Duty care is available for both short-term (following a hospitalization) and long-term needs (due to a chronic or life-long condition or injury). AGS provides your loved ones private duty care which may also be utilized to provide relief for a family member or another caregiver as needed. Private Duty Care may range from a brief personal visit to 24 hours per day assistance. Our qualified Caregivers can be called on to accompany clients while traveling, in Arizona, across the USA and/or abroad.
In any situation, A Good Shepherd In-Home Care Services realizes the importance of maintaining consistent, dependable care. We offer all ranges of non-skilled nursing care depending upon the client's needs and/or preferences. Our goal is to help long-term clients stay in their homes as long as possible.
How It Works:
A Good Shepherd In-Home Care Services carefully matches caregivers to meet each client's in-home care needs by providing personal in-home health care consultants in the privacy of your home.
AGS-CARES can do medical assessments to determine the appropriate skill level required. A qualified medical Case Manager will provide the client with an in-home medical care assessment and thoroughly discuss your in-home care needs. A plan of care is developed following the assessment with ongoing input from the client and client's physicians, as needed.
AGS-CARES can advocate for a client who needs assistance when applying for ALTCS and AHCCCS (Arizona Medicare/Medicaid).
Our Caregivers are carefully selected and experienced professionals. Each of our caring Certified Caregivers is professionally supervised, insured and bonded caregivers providing reliable assistance each day. We also do criminal background and legal status checks in the USA.
For your safety and well-being, all AGS Caregivers are CPR Certified and have successfully completed extensive selection and a screening and training process to ensure reliable and consistent service, while providing assurance and peace of mind to our clients’ personal safety.
Whether the client is living at home, in an apartment, or an aging adult residence, our services can be tailored to fit your individual needs.

Geared To Your Financial Resources
We are experienced in delivering cost effective services designed to provide our clients with the assistance they need. Our Case Managers will design a realistic care plan taking your finances into consideration. While some insurance companies pay for all or part of home care services, more commonly, clients pay for Private Duty services directly. If you are unclear if your insurance will pay for Private Duty services, we will contact your insurance company to verify available benefits. This is one more way A Good Shepherd In-Home Care Services takes the stress out of arranging home care, especially at a difficult time.
